Seven Rangers Institute of Nursing in Dankuni, Hooghly, West Bengal, offers General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) three-years course for female. The program is affiliated by I.N.C. and W.B.N.C. Presently, we have an intake capacity of 60 students. We plan to upgrade our courses from GNM Nursing to B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing in near future. At Seven Rangers Institute of Nursing, we help our students to build a healthy environment through quality education, keeping in mind the wellbeing of society. The B.Sc Nursing degree programme is a four year full time residential programme comprising eight semester, which prepares B.Sc. Nursing graduates qualified to practice nursing and mid-wifery in a variety as settings in either public / government or private healthcare settings. The programme prepares nurses and mid wives for general nursing including mid-wifery practice. Knowledge acquisition related to wellness, health promotion, illness, disease, management and care of dying is core to nursing practice.
The General Nursing and Midwifery course is a Full time residential diploma gprogram comprising 3 years including internship which prepares the nurses to practice nursing and midwifery in a varely of settings in either Government / Private health core settings. The Unique function of a nurse is to assist the individual, sick or well, in the programme of the activities contributing to health or its recovery (or to peaceful death). In order to provide qualitative nursing care there is a need to brain nursery effectively to work as a team number of health core delivery system.
